CASING Item
Code CAS,
We make casing from lightweight steel, or aluminium with brass threads in

"coarse" square acme threads. |

platform to apply downward pressure (some operators stand on them or add sand

Is used in conjunction with the casing clamp or another strap wrench to
tighten and undo the joints. Pipe wrenches (stilsons) are not recommended

SLUDGERS OR BAILERS Item
Code SLR,
The rope type operates by a ball valve in the bottom and has an open top with
a loop to tie the rope to. It is faster to use in clean sand but muddy
material or clay lenses slow the progress greatly. |

SLUDGER OR BAILERS Item
Code SLWT,
Whistle top type, also operates by a ball valve but has a fitting to attach
extention rods in the top which then requires a side opening (that resembles
a train whistle) to empty it. It is superior in muddy materials or clay
lenses because the sludger can be pushed down. Can also be used with rope by
ordering a rope loop. |
